Our products are woven from half-linen which is comprised from a non-abrasive long thread (warp) of cotton and a tear-resistant cross thread (weft) of linen. We also have some products that are woven solely from cotton.

The high quality products can be washed with care. Linen and cotton can take relatively high temperatures (max. 60 deg) but should only be spun gently and not placed in a tumble-dryer. Care instructions are included .

Our products are hand-woven and processed in the Haslital. Every product is labeled with our logo. Labels on smaller articles, such as a keyring, are attached by a red safety pin. Only products that are labeled in this way are originals from the Haslital Hand Weaving Studio.

Our products are all very carefully made by hand and, with proper usage, have a long life. But of course, mistakes can happen... please contact us should your hand-woven product have a production fault. We will find a solution! We cannot take responsibility for damage that occurs through careless use or handling.

Has your product sustained some damage? Please contact us and we will try to find a way to repair it for you.

We have a large selection of patterns and colours. We would be delighted to talk to you about your individual request and our possibilities. Please take into account that individually requested products take more time to produce. The price will depend on time/materials used.

Some of our products can be personalised with a name or initials. Please contact us with your request so we can discuss your ideas.

We would be delighted to pack your online purchases as a present. We have transparent or coloured paper. Information about packaging can be found in the online shop.

At the moment our shop in Meiringen (Rudenz 10) is the only place that stocks our entire range. You can also purchase our products online.
